Same story!! Shawn Michael calling from some government office about a lawsuit that has been , downloaded against my SSN and name. If I don't pay then they will come take me to Jail. Thick heavy Indian accents. Happens about every 3-6 months. Calls my phone, my work phone. Cannot stop them from calling. Cannot find them, Using fake names, fake company names and fake lawsuits. Do not fall for it people. It is a SCAM. You can tell them all about the Fair Debt Collections Act and tell them to Cease all communication and they still call. They want your attorney's name or they want to talk to your supervisor. DO NOT deal with them. They are out to get your money and make your life miserable. Most likely got your information from an old payday loan company that you did online. If they don't get your cooperation, they get rude and will start cursing at you and threatening you.
they have your info from a loan you may have applied for. I applied for a payday loan online and thats when I started receiving these kind of calls from these Hindu muthafuckas! yea they call your job and they will try to access your banking info over the phone they have been doing that too.
this man call my 12 year old son cell phone and asked for me when my son told him that this his phone and not his mom this told him that i took out a loan and i did not pay on it and that we would loose our house in 30 days if i didn't pay it. My son called me soooo upset about this that we would loose are house. Well I asked my mother in law to look this number up and she found this. I can't believe that some one would harrest a child. I wish there is something that can be done to this person.
Got a call from this number, terrible connection. Called back and the connection was still bad, i was trying to understand what he was saying and he started yelling "COMPLAINT! COMPLAINT! COMPLAINT!" at me so I hung up. I think he's using some type of VOIP service so i will report the scam to his provider.
