I just got a call from the 706-229-8669 number for the 5th time and I finally answered. When I answered it just hung up. I called the number back and it was for the Walmart Gift Card Line. Def a scam.
I have received no less than 30 calls from this number over the past few days. They phone religiously every 2 hours. Once I answered and told the telemarketer that I was NOT interested and to remove me from their data base. Of course, that didn't happen. There are several numbers this place uses but 70-229-8669 makes the most calls.
I get calls from this number regularly. Today a total of 3 times and it says Dalton on it. Do not usually answer it or when I do no one is there. It is a telemarketer I am pretty sure and they talk to the 1st person that answers. Sick of it.
I have asked 4 times over the last two weeks to be removed from their calling list. When I tried to be transferred to a supervisor, not one of the people I spoke with seemed to know who the supervisor was. I did get information from one woman, though. She told me that she works for J&B Marketing, and the gift card offer is through a company called Sidetick TV. They call me at least 5 times a day, and I have had it. I've reported their number and the names of the companies I received to the BBB. Hopefully that will stop calls for ALL of us!!
They have called me numerous times daily for several weeks. I tried to be removed from their call list 4 times without success. I finally tried to get some information about their company, but I was hung up on each time I asked. Unfortunately, the calls kept coming. Eventually, today, I was able to finally get someone on the phone. The woman, who would not give me her name but wanted mine, said she works for a company called J&B Marketing, but the Wal-Mart/Target gift card is being offered by SideTick TV. I looked them up on the internet to get their phone number. When I tried to call their 877 number, it said, "One moment please...goodbye." In an effort to give everyone some peace in their homes, I have reported both companies and phone numbers to the BBB. I hope that helps us all!!!
