I just got a call from the 706-229-8669 number for the 5th time and I finally answered. When I answered it just hung up. I called the number back and it was for the Walmart Gift Card Line. Def a scam.
Received a call from the number 706-229-8669 I am on the DNC list!! I answered. They said nothing sat heir breathing on the phone for like a minute. I told them if they were going to call they needed to say something. They hung up. I called back and it was a a machine saying I won a voucher for a $100 wal-mart or Target. There was no option to press other than 1 to claim the prize. They continually call. Harassing me. Filed a scam report with the BBB. Everybody please do the same!! That way they will be stopped. It is so annoying.
Received 2 calls today from this number and didn't answer either time as I didn't recognize the number.....no message left so I looked # up on white pages and noticed it said spam activities associated with this number!!!!!
They wanted to give me a wallmart or target gift card , try something like netflix or hulu they wanted to charge 6.95$ processing fee. I told them I do not have credit card and he told me good bye. I am sure they get many fish on the hook. I do not even know where do they get my phone number from.
I am continually getting telephone calls from this number. It is very annoying. I don't answer because I don't know the telephone number. I finally got frustrated enough to google the number and I see that it is a scam. The do not call registries do not seem to work.
