Received a call from 706-493-1803, caller ID "TELECOM CSTSRVC", no message left. This number flagged as a probable scammer on other web sites. Also has called me from 703-493-1815.
I received a call from 706-493-1803 at approximately 240 p.m. Atlanta Georgia time. When the call came in - it was at first a automated system talking about the warranty on my car needing to be renewed, so I listened and then an male voice came on the line. My first hint that this was not on the up and up was he asked for me by my nickname and secondly was from the first minute he started talking, any questions I tried to pose was talked over - and his voice getting louder and louder. I stated that I did not purchase a warranty, and he replied "It was from when I purchased the car from the dealership it was a manufacturer warranty which is now expired." Now, the fact that he addressed me by a nickname, and now he implied I purchased it from a dealership (which I did not) and then when I tried to ask him another question about which car he was referring to, he replied "The Chevy, Jesus!". I said,"Hey! I do not own a Chevy."
He proceeded to scream like a madman at the top of his lungs - Just scream and no words.
I receive a call from this number every day multiple times out the day and when I answer nobody says anything....one time a Chinese guy said it was about the warranty on my car....i have been placed on the do not call list but I still get calls....so aggravating they are just fishing for info
