A woman claiming from TD Bank called to say there was suspicious activity on my card. She asked me to verify the last four of my social, which I found suspicious so I asked her for a branch number. She said to call the number on the back of my credit card, so I did. TD Bank said they did not place the call and there is no suspicious activity on my account. This is PHISHING.
Just got a call from this number. Left message to call them back on an 888 number. Said their name is Credit Card Servicing. They called my cell number and knew my name. This is phishing don't answer or call them back. I don't not have any credit applications out there. Beware people!
So tired of scammers. 706 644 5000. They called my cell and left a vm to call 1888.916.2559. Said I had a credit application. Well my credit is on lock down and the credit reporting agencies will alert me if this is the case. So frim reading the other posts here I wont be calling them back!!
called me 3 weeks ago after my business credit application from Td Bank. They just want to verify that I apply for it and asked last 4 digits SS. I got approved few days after for $5000 business Credit card. So far I haven't get any suspicious activity on my account.I asked few TD bank reps, the answers was different for each reps. I got confused too.
