You almost fell for this scam? You need councilling. This scam is so ludicrous that no one should even consider anything but slamming the phone down. I guess that's why these maggots still call. All it takes is one hit.

Someone called my home phone at 7AM this morning. I did not answer and they left a 10 second blank message on my voicemail. Caller ID listed out of area instead of a company name.
Called five times in a row. Rejected first four let last ring and ring, no voice mail set up on cell (for just this reason). Hate solicitations on cell.
Just got the same call as all you described: India man voice, making up some bull about being compensated in the past, didn't you sir.I began immediately asking for his name and address, he got very quiet, that is what I suspected another scam. Im hoping he reads this post: Go back to your own Country, we do not cheat people in this country out of their hard working money. Go back to you own country and Do it to your own people [***]!!!
