Got calls from this number every day this week and they only left 1 voicemail. The automatic voicemail said something about PG&E and changes to my bill that were mailed to me? I dont know but it sounded like a waste of time. I dont know why they keep calling me, either.
This number called repeatedly for over a week, and I finally answered. It was a partner to the utility company trying to give away "free" weatherization. Trouble is, it is not free, and the people who do the work are not professionals but generally people who do not want to work. They go to get unemployment or whatever and say they "can't" find work and the jobs are created for them, even though they are not competent to do weatherization. I know this because a friend of mine was on the employment end of the arrangement years ago. Weatherstripping residences with gas appliances can and has cost lives. Don't believe it; research it. The sad thing, besides that this endangerment is thrust upon the poor who are RENTING (property owners have responsibility for necessary work) is that renters have real needs such as dual pane windows properly installed and not by "Energy Partner" programs. Mold issues are sometimes caused by prehistoric windows with drainage holes in them. But God forbid that state law require dual pane windows in all housing. There are numerous residential issues to be addressed throughout the USA, but they are ignored while this endangerment and waste goes on and has gone on for decades. The poor people who are called by these third parties to the utility company are told they will be given something "free" and some people are not too bright as the program creators assume, and jump on the idea of getting something for nothing. Trouble is, what they are getting is worse than nothing and somebody is paying for the incompetent work. Entire neighborhoods with natural gas can include more than low-income apartment complexes, such as gas stations and upper-class homes using the same gas source. Nobody wins and it is scary as hell. This particular caller, when asked why she called repeatedly without leaving a message, denied calling previously with the excuse that there were other "contractors". They are not contractors! They are unprofessional people who don't belong in the work force! And the Caller ID did indeed confirm that the same area code was calling, and funny that the number itself cannot be traced online. Why are they hiding?

this number has called me too and introduced from PG&E, who wanted to ask me to verify few info about me. I told that person whatever you want to ask, send me a letter . I don't want to provide any info over the phone, and I hung up!
