I received a call from this number as well.. Man gave inaudible message- English very poor. called my CPA and told me it was a SCAM........Said the same thing and then called back and said they were from "legal affairs"..... ?????? SCAM!!

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
I fell for it because I was on an IRS payment plan they seemed to know about. When I questioned it, I was told that my financial activity was being monitored and my payment plan was being revoked. I was also told that if the phone connection was dropped for any reason the arrest warrant would be executed immediately. As I was leaving town that day, and my wife is sick, I made 3 "Western Union" payments (all under $2000) and was told not to tell Western Union it was for the IRS. The went to Houston TX, Miami FL and San Francisco. It felt wrong, but I was under an extreme time deadline and I needed to travel, so I didn't want any problems. They got $4500 plus fees.
Call from 707 786 6843 a Kathleen straight left msg imp call her back with IRS .I called but got a man couldn't understand and heard other voices in background.something about criminal something needed my ph # had my name but couldn't pronounce it correctly. I finally said this is a scam and with that he hung up.
