Just received a call from this number, 1-707-822-9870. Did not recognize number, so did not answer - no message left. I never answer the phone if I don't recognize the number.
These scam artists have been working for years... from previous postings that ive read.And as many of you ..i typed in the phone number of one of these harrassing callers (707)822 9870....from california.........and i want to tell anyone who reads these posts..to report immediatly to your intenet or phone security division...My mom was actually a victim of these idiots...and i say idiots because every one of the conversations she's had with these amateurs has been recorded..and an investigation has been ongoing for sometime!!!!!But ANYONE who has received one of these calls..should start to record the conversation before you answer the phone.Keep them on the line as long as possible and ask lots of questions...let them put you through to "managers" or "supervisors".......and hopefully youve already contacted security from your phone or internet provider ahead of time...(and after the call ends,you need to call your phone carrier or internet carrier security)...and tell them you just got off the phone with this #........see the thing about these punks is that greed motivates them...if you play stupid ,they will call you over and over,thus taking a chance and exposing themselves further....buyt only if you contact the authorities and be proactive,,,they will ruin you.My mom had changed credit card numbers 3/4 times....they infected her computer...and as an older lady..she did alot of online shopping...this is where she ran into problems...they snatched her info..and actually made purchases on her cards a couple of times...then some "windows"rep called and told her to press the windows button on her computer...and she complied...she said "he sounded so serious...and he made it sound like they were monitoring someone who was about to put a virus on her computer"...needless to say, she did what was asked...within 2 months of doing that her computer shut down...blue screen ...dead...will not start....so now i gotta erase her system...nuke the hard drive and re-install a new os...im thinking linux maybe?dont let these jerk offs screw up your life,,,because it can get alot worse if you dont do anything....good luck
Just got a call from this number +17078229870 and they sounded serious, and told me they were Novatech Solutions. They told me to open my somputer and guided me to see that I had lots of viruses. Which is probably correct. Another, supervisor tol me to download a program to give them access to my computer so they could remove the malware and viruses. I did not give them access. I didn`t dare. Told them I had to go to work. They then tried to convince me that I really should do it, and said "why do you all of a sudden have to go to work?" I then hung up
