It's one thing when you see an area code that obviously is not one associated with anyone you would know. I simply don't pick up the phone, and a message is never left. Problem solved. It tends to be in out of the way places in sparsely populated states.
It's another thing when that spam phone call is coming from your own area code and you live just outside a major metropolitan area.
How do these scummy people AFFORD phone service in these areas in order to perpetuate their scummy schemes? So frustrating.

Security Specialists call from 708 area code to 708 area code. It's the only reason I answered cause it was local. Asked to be removed and he was pleasant and said he would and even apologized. Hopefully I'm off the list.
