I got the call this afternoon, August 15 2009. I went to switchboard.com and typed in the number and got the name Reggie Cash and Ira Jefferson located at 1825 Canal St, Blue Island, Ill. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and it also shows a photo of Reggie...Hopefully enough people will read this and maybe we can all take some action!! My caller id had this number but the guy said to call him back on 877-844-2964...Wouldn't it be something if these guys and gals get caught..
A "machine" called from 708 377 3276, said I had won a "major" prize and that I should call 708 389 3156 (presumably to collect this prize). Anyone have any idea of what THIS is all about?
Just received a recorded call from 708-377-4288 saying I had won a major prize from a sweepstakes I entered in the last 1-2 months. Asked me to call 708-389-3156 for information on my prize. I am reporting this to complaints.donotcall.gov as I am on the "do not call" list.
Received the same call as the two mentioned above but said I had entered to win a SUV in the past 1 - 18 months. It was a recording but identified himself as Matt Brooks with SW Promotions. It said I was guarenteed to receive 1 of 3 major prizes. Also made a point to say that this was not a "solitation" call and that absolutely no money was being asked for in exchange for my winning.
