I received a call from the number in question, I decided not to answer because the number was not recognizable to me, so I thought that if the call was important the caller would at least leave a message, which they did not. I called the number back later and got a recorded message about the company and the reason for the call, it then gives you the opportunity to be taken off of their call list, which I did after following the prompts.
Call was made to claim a prize that they offered. This was unwanted by me. Wanted me to "hit 2 if you have recieved this call in error and want to be taken out of their database"
It's a VERY annoying robocall from "DTI Advertising" calling on behalf of "Phoenix Vacations" and it promises you a free vacation. It gives you the option of pressing 2 to be put on their no-call list (as if calling my CELL PHONE wasn't illegal in the first place) and when you press #2, you just keep getting the unbelievably annoying sales pitch. This is about the worst robocall I have ever received.
Got the same pitch from DTI Advertising for a vacation promoter -- "Congratulations, you and your spouse have been selected winners of a round-trip..." Offered all expenses paid, rental car, $300 free gasoline, and a number (866-479-2873)to call for further details. How did these morons get my cell number?
