They try to lure you in to purchase online support and claim to be through Microsoft. If you try to cancel, they tell you the only way they can refund your money is by wire transfer to your bank account. They claim the smallest amount they can send is $3,500. In turn, they want you to immediately go to your bank and withdraw $3000 and go to a Western Union and wire transfer the money to them before they release your funds. I told them I just wanted a refund to my credit card and they refused. The credit card charge is now in dispute because they did not perform the work requested.
On top of that, while they were trying to scam me, I called the local police department and they confirmed the people I had on the phone were scammers and to hang up immediately!
