I received the same thing. He wants to buy an item for 225.00 on Craigslist and sent me check for 1950.00 to be shipped. Insisting on it being cashed. Don't do it!

Sent text about item I had listed on Craigslist. Wanted me to send full name and address so the they could send me a check and have the item picked up. Sure---I am a very long distance away from Illinois.
this person has got to be ignorant of the available sources to find his hind end.
says he will send a cashiers check and wants my address. didn't want to give a lot of info but said there would be no problem.
