Same as above. I get a call from this number every weekday around 5:30 PM. The Caller ID says 'IOWA.' When I pick up the phone and say hello, the caller always hangs up -- most times as soon as I say hello, and one time after a longer pause. When I tried calling the number on the Caller ID (1-712-429-0344), a recorded message said that the number was disconnected or no longer in service.
This is extremely annoying, and I am so tired of it.
ha ha this happens daily to me also...I just tried to call and it number is disconnected....funny how that number just called me right. So i am wondering what can we do beside keeps writing more post....thinking bout calling telephone company.....712-429-0344....i had to call *69...
I received a call from this number this morning, the female "representitive" from "Value Benefits" had a heavy foreign accent. She told me that my number had been randomly selected to receive $125 gas card and $500 "shopping spree" to any major supermarket including Wal-Mart, K-Mart, etc.. I was tempted, she was very good, fortunatly I'm not an idiot. She also asked me about credit card usage for gas, and finally to close the deal I only had to pay $2.95 for S&H, via credit card. $625 for $2.95, c-mon people get real... apparently nobody has told these foreigners that in the U.S. nothing is for free... Remember people, if it seems to good to be true it usually is.
