this number has repeatedly called my brothers phone...looked into it and found it was from a company called adventure communications...out of sloan ia. same for phone numbers 712-429-0350, 712-429-0305, 712-429-0368, 712-429-0351,
Caller ID said Sloan, Iowa but the caller had a foreign accent. He was offering a free $25 gas card. Then he asked how I normally pay for gas, cash or card. I told him that we pay cash for everything! Then he wanted to know what credit cards we use because this offer was only for people with credit cards. When I told him that we do not have credit cards (we do) and that we pay cash for everything, he hung up.
Called stating approved for $125 free gas card, and free dining card (unknown amount), requested information. Stated he was right down the street, knew my address, stated he would come over in about 30 min. Called everyday for the past week, foreign accent.
I just got a call from this individual who basically has no morales. I told him very politely 3 times that I was not interested and to take me off any list he had. I then instructed him very calmly that if he persisted, that I would be very rude to him until he complied with what I said. He basically ignored me. So I told him he was hurting his company (whatever it was) and was basically an idiot. He then said "Idiot is your name sir?" and "Moron is your Father's name sir?" Okay, it was on from there, my Dad (who died a several years ago) had more integrity than this man will ever know in one moment of a minute for his entire life. Not sure if this man (I use the term loosely) cared or not, but he definetly is not from Iowa. It is more likely a routing through there from India where many companies have out sourced calls such as these through. Or it was a scam. Either way, I would love to know how to contact his company to have him fired. Many companies have tapes during the conversation for quality purposes. I basically called him out over that tape to be fired for his comments. Let's hope someone is listening.
