Receive these type of calls every week. The area codes are always different. The next 3 numbers are ALWAYS 555. Its hard to block on your phone when there are only a set number of ones that can be blocked on my phone. I do not answer numbers that are not recognized. Do not call listings do not help. These calls are harrassment!!
Got a call at ~6:30 am!!! Said my computer might be infected and wanted me to check it with them - there would be no charge if my computer was OK. If not, there would be a charge. They woke me up on a Saturday morning for this fishing expedition to bamboozle me out of money!!!??? Shame on them!
A man person with accent called and said they were from Microsoft. They wanted me to access my computer saying that I had downloaded infected files and they would help me fix the issue and not to use my computer! What BS!
Just called and left a voicemail saying I had missed a court appearance. I'm a police officer. If I had missed court my chief would have already called me to let me know not to come to work the next day! Idiots.
called stating there was something wrong with my windows computer, when I asked him if he was in my computer he got crude with me and said some very nasty things..these people are scammers that just want to either get info from you or money .. just hang up the phone!!!
