A woman with Pakistani- Indian accent call said she was from IRS and was investigating serious allegation against us. Asked us to call back right away. This sounds very fraudulent and needs to be investigated by IRS, FBI.
I got the nuisance call from this no. the lady said i am under criminal investigation by IRS .Return call as soon as possible ,i thought IRS office closed by 4 pm
Report the Calls to the real IRS here:
•report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 800-366-4484.
•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.
Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.
I got the same call at 7:30am the fools left two messages and he used the name michael brown with an indian accent said it was irs criminal investigation and I needef to call right away he enen brought god into it and said debbie god bless you really! How dare he bring god into his scam. number use was 713 219 9517 beware!!
I just recieved a call from this number as well. They said the same spill they are giving everyone else. I told her i cannot take personal calls only family emergency calls as this is a place of business. She proceeded to ask for a certain worker here. I finally just hung up on her.
They left a message looking for my landlord. I called back to give them the landlord number and the person started using terroristic tactics like if you don't pay 749 dollars right now we will freeze your bank accounts and arrest you. I told them that is illegal because we were not the one they were looking for. And hang up. Next thing I know 911 is calling us saying they have a warrant for our arrest; like I don’t know about how to bluff a call. Scammers.
