Phone call on March 10. Told me they would be at my home or work on March 13 from 3-5 to get signature. If I didn't sign, would miss my court date. Called number back and they were unavailable.
Independent process server named Ashley Jefferson working out of my county saying she'll be making several attempts to gain my signature at home and work on Friday March 3 between the hours of 3 & 5 pm. Says if she can't reach me it will be considered refusal to sign & i'll miss my court date. Leaves this # to call back. She doesn't say who the company is that she's serving the papers for. Says I have officialy been notified and have my info. ready. This is the 1st call I've ever received. I thought one has to be notified in writing. Never received anything in writing. Do servers call ahead of time? I was scammed before and i'm afraid of being scammed again.

The person who called you is lying.
Real process servers never call in advance of delivery of court papers.
As you have been scammed before, it is possible these scammers know that and are trying to trick you again.
As for the "court date" - that is public information. Go to your county courthouse and see if anything has been filed against you. Check once a week or so.
