Got a call yesterday and today from same guy, "Steve". Today I asked him for HIS phone number. He hung up. Yesterday he asked me if I have taken birth control in the past.
SMH, waiting for him to call again. Will be getting the fax machine from now on.
They call me as well from that number of 713 623 6598 at 6:53pm est but somehow it only ring once then no more. I call it back to find out it was a busy single so figure it got to be a scammer lol.
Received a call from 713 623-6598 today. caller ID said Consulate Washington DC, I usually don't answer the number that I don't know. so when I google this number, this area code is from Houston, TX, it must be scammer.
Could be another fake "legal settlement offer", a cover story for advance fee fraud. In the US if you win a damage award as a plaintiff or a class action member, you *DO NOT PAY TO COLLECT* that award! Your legal notices are not going to come through mysterious phone calls from incomprehensible cretins in South Asia.
To help explain one variant of the scheme, this is a recent press release from an attorney litigating a *real* Yaz/Yasmin case:
Consumer Alert – Alleged Fraudulent Yaz Settlements

Thick Indian accent, states he's calling from US Dept of Health, asking about surgeries I've had and my disability (I didn't know that I have a disability...lol). I asked him about his surgeries and he hung up on me.
