I received call on my landline from Liang, Liying, no voicemail. Interesting fact: from my Cell # I've made inquiries about car donations to KERA (the PBS station) and carwizard which handles many 501 c 3 charities' car donations, allegedly. Within half a business day I received this call on a phone number I did not divulge.
Probably an information aggregator who sold your (and mine) contact information, who cross-referenced other contact information already available. Could still be a Scammer, nonetheless. I agree with blocking as the only viable solution. My info is on every possible "do not contact" list available, but sometimes, like with KERA, you have to opt-out after the fact. Just found that out. Guess you end up donating to them "one way or another."
Just got a call from this person (company), my caller ID said Liang, Liying. Sounds like another scam debt collector since numerous calls from been coming in from Houston, TX, area. They are blocked now on my end until they spoof another number.
