There are currently FOUR exemptions to the DNCL:
* Political calls
* Surveys
* Charities
* Preexisting Business arrangements (18 mos)
Those exemptions have been listed for a very long time. They are not new.
In addition, a "survey" that is really a solicitation to sell is NOT an exempted survey! It is classified as an illegal telemarketing attempt.
I agree that a call blocker is an excellent defense against scam/spam callers.
Now, to support your rant about the DNCL, please tell us of any real exemptions (other than the four I mentioned). Here is your opportunity to excel!
