5/28/16 11:33 PDT Just tried to call and when it got to voicemail, no message left. Have not asked for "service" from anyone, so have now blocked number.
Caller didn't leave a message on my machine and the caller id said "Service" which probably means telemarketer/scammer. So I ran 3 reverse traces using 3 different types of traces and all were blocked for a person or business name and the only information was a general location of Anaheim, California using 2 service providers of USA Mobility Wireless Inc.-CA and CELLCO Partnership DBA Verizon Wireless-CA. This is definitely a scammer that is either spoofing numbers or using a voip system while phishing for personal information and running some scam ( i.e. Solar Energy, Green Solutions, Home Improvement etc. ). A legitimate business would never hide their identity and location from the public by blocking a trace. DON'T ANSWER AND DO NOT CALL BACK FOR ANY REASON. Block and report to the proper authorities. Phone companies should be held responsible for these types of calls since they are making money from them by providing the systems and services that these scammers use and possibly farming out numbers too.
Calls me to the point of harassment. I'm currently in Asia, so they call multiple times in the middle of the night. I decided to pick up to tell them to stop calling and was met with
nothing but dead air.
