I received a call from Verango today with a man perporting to be with Southern California Edison. He continued to tell me the people on my street were unhappy with their edison bill and we could get solar for free. I knew this was a scam and he really pissed me off because he was so angry. I guess he got the hint when he put the nice cop of the good cop bad cop routine on the phone. I made an appointment with them and as soon as I saw these reviews I called and cancelled.
Thank you everyone for posting! I feel sorry for people who do not have the resources to check on the company....
This dude is clueless considering we've been messing with him every time he calls for years now. Today I wish I recorded him, he called my boyfriend a stoner and some other stuff and we got him to hang up on us for once.
I have been receiving at least one call everyday for the past two weeks. Caller doesn't say anything, doesn't leave message, hangs up. Very annoying. Perhaps gets a kick out of being the subject of sites such as this?
