I received a call from Verango today with a man perporting to be with Southern California Edison. He continued to tell me the people on my street were unhappy with their edison bill and we could get solar for free. I knew this was a scam and he really pissed me off because he was so angry. I guess he got the hint when he put the nice cop of the good cop bad cop routine on the phone. I made an appointment with them and as soon as I saw these reviews I called and cancelled.
Thank you everyone for posting! I feel sorry for people who do not have the resources to check on the company....
I have been getting repeated calls from them as well, I googled the number to see who they were, and stumbled across this page here. I've never picked the phone up anytime they have called, and I am getting sick of seeing their number in my call log every few days. They don't give up do they. I'm at the point I might just add them to my contacts list on my cell so I can put them on the "straight to voicemail" option. This has to stop!
RECEIVED A CALL FROM VERENGO ON MY BUSINESS LINE @ 3:28PM. I LET THE CALL GO TO VOICE MAIL SINCE I RECOGNIZED THE NUMBER.
NO MESSAGE WAS LEFT.
THEY CALL EVERY WEEK OR SO. IF I HAVE THE TIME, I SCREW AROUND WITH THEM.
