Got a call and answered it! Claimed to be from a company called Energy Upgrades of San Clemente, CA.
When I asked to be removed from their call list the person on the line "Chris" claimed to not know what I was refering about. Then I asked for a supervisor, and was transfered to a "Christina" . I asked the same, to be removed from the call list. Her response was "Wow that isn't possible. Once yo're on the list you can not be removed!" Then transfered me back to Chris. I said that this call was against the FTC rules. His response was "Who are they?"
These fools call me all the time and never say anything then hang up. After doing some research I found out who they are!

Just got a call from a company claiming to be coming to my area this weekend and they want to set up an appointment with me regarding energy upgrades. Then he immediately asked me if we've done any upgrades to the heating/cooling unit. I told him we don't want to buy anything pleaes remove me from your solicitation list. To which he replied that I don't understand that was something different last year have we done any upgrades to our heating/cooling unit. I said WE DO NOT WANT A FREE ESTIMATE THAT WILL LEAD INTO US BUYING SOMETHING! REMOVE ME FROM YOUR SOLICITATION LIST! He replied in a very "put out" way, "Uhh, you don't understand.." and hung up.
I saw on this website the company is Clearview (714)729-0680 so I called and pressed "0" got Tina who said she's able to look up exactly who called and reprimand. More importantly, she's removing me from their list.
If you get a call from an unknown number, do not answer and do not call back.
If legit, they will leave a message.
If a telemarketer or scammer, don't you think everyone in the organisation is in on it?!?! Specially if you have to research to get a valid number. Then you call and the "nice" lady "Tina" gets your number and maybe name, takes it off their list and sells it to another scumbag telemarketer as a verified good number.
