This is a 3rd party collection agency who buys a bunch of old debts that are most likely past the statute of limitations. They throw them into an auto dialer that calls through the numbers every few weeks or so. Since they are a disreputable agency, they have slackers working there who don't want to actually talk to anyone, so they hang up when you answer. There are numerous, too numerous to mention, complaints filed against them in most every state. Please continue to file complaints to get their license pulled. Call your local state banking department, not the BBB. They violate state & federal FDCPA laws with every call they make.

I've gotten these calls twice a day for the past week.  I believe they also call from 714-495-4807.  They call, I answer, they hang up.  Big pain in the u-no-what if you ask me.  I answer because it's a CoCal number, and we get lots of calls from that area code...

Get dozens of these calls when I'm working, and over the lat few months. They don't leave messages. They call all the time and annoy me so I won't answer them.

See comment by Danric (above) "This is a 3rd party collection agency who buys a bunch of old debts that are most likely past the statute of limitations." Definitely past the statute of limitations, which makes it a *TIME-BARRED DEBT!

Several things you people should do: 1) Check with your state's consumer protection agency and determine your state's statute of limitations. 2) Consider buying a phone that allows you to block numbers [Panasonic KX-TG7624 allows up to 30 blocked numbers].

*The statute of limitations relates to a creditors right to sue to collect money. The original creditor is mandated by federal law, to charge-off an account when no payments have been received for 180 days. That date is referred to as the ‘Date of Last Activity (DLA)’ and reported as such, to the credit reporting agencies by the creditor. The DLA determines two critical issues: 1) It starts and stops the seven year clock on your credit files. 2) It starts and stops the statute of limitations for taking legal action in your state by ANY subsequent owner of the account.
