Sorry Andrew you need to know the law before you comment. You "can" tell them to stop calling you regardless of if you owe the money or not; if they purist after your request, you can sue them and register a formal complaint with your states Secretary of State! There are laws to protect you! A debt correction agency has no more rights than any other individual to harness people; they are only a representative, and are being paid to recover the account passed on to them, regardless of the accuracy of if the money is owed or not!
I called them back and it said it was transferring my call. It played some terrible music than the robot lady said she could not transfer my call and hung up. It did not mention the name of the company or anything.
