received a call, sounded like a robot woman calling for "National Health"; She asked to verify #, i asked "who is it you work for again?", she re-requested, "Is this ###-###-#### (my number)" in robot voice. I responded, "If you are not going to answer my question, I am not going to talk to you." BEWARE. Is an auto call - do not give them ANY INFORMATION. Keep asking who they work for and explicitly say, "DO NOT CALL BACK."
Four calls from this number just seconds apart, rang once each time then stopped so I tried calling back. Recording says something about the number not being in service. Can't be anything I want to hear about anyway. My recommendation: don't answer--or better yet, block the number.
Seems that many of these calls come at noon time. Someone making bogus calls on their lunch break? I answered because the caller ID said HEALTH OFFICE.Thought it may be important. First question was, Can you hear me okay? When I responded, A female voice said, "Have I reached 978-XXX-XXXX?" I said, (rather discussed with someone who was so far off the correct number [Just how drunk do you have to be to dial 978 instead of 501?]), "duh, Noooo." Whoever it was hung up.
