same as previous post - when I call back it says something like welcome to e-cosmo (it is hard to decipher)...and then you hear three beeps and disconnected.
Got a call this morning. Rang twice. Appear to be harvesting active phone numbers because when I called back I got nothing after it told me to wait . . . that's never good.
Total illegal activity here people.
Received a call from this number on my 201 area Verizon phone a few moments ago on a Sunday afternoon. Ignored it, disco on 4-5 rings. After reading the posts here I noticed that many of them involve Verizon phones. I also noticed, though I'm not sure, it seemed to follow a geographic progression west-to-east; haven't taken the time to look-up all the ACs.
One thing that may be of interest is that I recently upgraded my Android phone to GB and have recently also taken advantage of Google's $ 0.10 app sale, including last night. I wonder how many of the posters here have a smartphone and recently installed a new app just prior to receiving a call from this number? I say this because I never give my cell # out to anyone other than friends/family and employer(s). No merchants... except maybe those that glean the data from the phone itself thru an app.
This thought occurred to me as I Googled "cosmo" & "heycosmo" and just looking at the results, I quickly surmised that this a company that deals with social media which brings up another question: How many of you are heavy Facebook users, have their cell registered, or if not, their "friends" have it in their contacts?
