Got the text saying I won a $1000 gift card from best buy. One little problem, I never entered anything and NEVER gave Best Buy my phone number. Obviously this is a scam, DO NOT ANSWER IT!
I just got text messaging & got this text from the same number that you all speak of, except it did not say to enter the number there, which I would have expected.
It said, "Your entry last month has WON! Got to BestBuyWin. net and enter your winning code 5555 to claim your FREE $1000 Best Buy gift card within 24 hours.
I wanted to share this with you guys. Now I am going to search the "website"... NOT go to it, but SEARCH it.
Do we need to report also to Best Buy? Seems I read that somewhere???

I got it a week or so ago. Why is there NO date on texts?? Saved it to check it.
Have spoken to Verizon since, & they said "no charge" for it. Someone else said they had been charged $9.99. The person that I spoke with said that I had to deal with this, up to 5 free blocks, but others have said that when this happens, to call & Verizon takes care of the charge & blocks them?
Again, MINE was A TEXT!
