Called my cell phone but did not leave a message! As a rule, and as someone already suggested I do not answer unknown callers! Unfortunately for those of us whose resumes are posted on job sites, we are targets for fraudulent phone calls and bogus job offers. Just be aware and cautious of these types of contacts.
Yah...I got a call too. They left a message saying they saw my resume online and to give them a call back. The guy left his name, number and extension....but no company name or the position they were calling about. I read the notes here but called them back outta curiosity. Was surprised the guy actually answered. YUP...it was Bankers Life. They are recruiting for a Manager trainee for Brea, CA....way to far from me. Told him Thanks, but I wasnt interested. And yes...I heard the back ground noise too. They are definitely call center recruiters. He was not unprofessional.
This number called my home phone. it called my cell before. Indian accent attempting to recruit life insurance agents? When asked for the job description, the person told me to show up for an appt.
