Folks, please pay attention: if you think that posting your complaints, and making requests to have your numbers removed from any list on this forum is going to work, you're sadly mistaken. These telemarketers don't care if you're on the Do Not Call List; they don't care if you don't want them to call; they don't care if you call them names or hang up on them. They don't care if it's illegal. They just DON'T CARE.
They are relentless.
They will NEVER stop.
Best advice? Put your phone on silent, and never answer it. You are not required to answer that appliance. Let it ring, forget about it, and go on with your day. If someone wants to reach you that badly, they will leave a message.
9/02 8:35 PDT This one obviously isn't going to stop, based on past performance, but I can be just as relentless about not answering. I keep reporting so other people know what's happening. Why I didn't block before now, I don't know, but this a blocked number now, so whoever they are they will no longer be able to leave a message but will ring once to let me know they idiotically tried again.
That is exactly what I do. And I tell people that I screen all my calls but will pick up or return a call if they say who they are. I get about 25 calls every day and it drives me crazy, but I refuse to pick up and give them any satisfaction.
I just received a call from these "people" and they also hung up. Called it back and got the recording "You have reached a number that is no longer in service............." so it is probably a disguised number
