714-824-4536- called me this AM to try to reach someone else. I guess the number shows up to get you to answer rather than being blocked / Unknown. When I called back it said disconnected or changed on a Verizon Wireless recording.
The female caller had tried to get me to talk about this other person, she was rude and threatened to continue to call me when I grew tired and got rude to her line of questioning. She claimed there were some legal issues with the person she was trying to get info about.
I got the call but there was no message. I think my brother (who I have not seen in years) has a debt so they call me asking for him. At least that happened once before. That time, I called back and spoke to the collector about the wrong identity. Very cooperative reply and they stopped calling. Of course, I started the conversation with informing them that I was recording the call (many apps are available to do this) and that changed their tone quickly. It's illegal in California to harass relatives of a debtor. If this turns out to be the same collector, then I will have a legal case against them. Always record the call if you do call back. Tell them you are recording the call and you should notice a change of tone.
I received a call from this numbe 714 824-4536 every day then they said they want to talk to some one about legal doc. i said hand up and i called back the phone line was ring but only 1 or 2 times then off, to any one out there beware this scam
What balls they have to still call me even though I already legally recorded them saying they would stop. I think I will go file a small claims case and make them pay me instead. What a bunch of DB's. Maybe I will take the results to the media too.
