Be careful!
I was not going to renew my membership this year with AAA but I got a call from an agent leaving a voice mail that he can offer me a discount. I called him back at 1 877 222 4543 x4726. Alferodo offered me $5 discount. Only with that condition I accepted my renewal because I am unemployed at this moment and have to watch out for my expenses this year. I gave him my credit card information, he said he is going to charge me $43 and we both repeated the charge on the phone, couple of times. A week later I saw on my statement that he charged me $48, the full amount. I found this unbelievable and a scam….
Caller left a message saying to call 877-222-4543 x8347 which is a legitimate AAA phone number, but the number she was calling from (714) 825-0692 is not.
I have been getting phone calls all day from this number: 714-825-0692 and they do not leave a message, nor does anyone respond when I return the call. It is very annoying.
