I was not going to renew my membership this year with AAA but I got a call from an agent leaving a voice mail that he can offer me a discount. I called him back at 1 877 222 4543 x4726. Alferodo offered me $5 discount. Only with that condition I accepted my renewal because I am unemployed at this moment and have to watch out for my expenses this year. I gave him my credit card information, he said he is going to charge me $43 and we both repeated the charge on the phone, couple of times. A week later I saw on my statement that he charged me $48, the full amount. I found this unbelievable and a scam….
Just because you have your cards DOES NOT verify that your membership is expired we send your cards with your bill before the expiration and YES this is the AAA retention department that handles expired memberships pending cancellation. Please do your research before piston negative things about a valid number
I had the AAA person verify that they were AAA by giving me my auto policy # and telling me when my last tow was. I also immediately checked pending CC charge and everything indicates AAA.

The guys that are calling are all on commission so they are very much invested in getting your payment with them and over the phone.
