Caller didn't leave a message on my machine and the caller id said "Out of Area" which usually means telemarketer/scammer. So I ran 3 reverse traces using 3 different types of traces and all were blocked for a person or business name and the only information was a general location of Fullerton, California using 2 service providers of Verizon Business and MCI Worldcom Communications Inc.-CA. This is definitely a scammer that is either spoofing numbers or using a voip system while phishing for personal information and running some scam ( i.e. Solar Energy, Green Solutions, Clean Energy Alliance [which is located in Oakland,Ca] etc. ). A legitimate business would never hide their identity and location from the public by blocking a trace. DON'T ANSWER AND DO NOT CALL BACK FOR ANY REASON. Block and report to the proper authorities. Phone companies should be held responsible for these types of calls since they are making money from them by providing the systems and services that these scammers use and possibly farming out numbers too.

I called the number back using my blocked phone. They answered with a recording, "Thank you for calling the Clean Energy Alliance. All our representatives are busy. ..." They are selling solar power. They offer a way to get off their calling list (Ha! I don't believe it for a second). The recording said that you must leave your name and telephone number after the beep. I hung up after hearing that, and did not leave a message. They are already breaking the law by calling our unlisted, DoNotCall phone number, so why should I trust them?
