Caller didn't leave a message on my machine and the caller id said "Out of Area" which usually means telemarketer/scammer. So I ran 3 reverse traces using 3 different types of traces and all were blocked for a person or business name and the only information was a general location of Fullerton, California using 2 service providers of Verizon Business and MCI Worldcom Communications Inc.-CA. This is definitely a scammer that is either spoofing numbers or using a voip system while phishing for personal information and running some scam ( i.e. Solar Energy, Green Solutions, Clean Energy Alliance [which is located in Oakland,Ca] etc. ). A legitimate business would never hide their identity and location from the public by blocking a trace. DON'T ANSWER AND DO NOT CALL BACK FOR ANY REASON. Block and report to the proper authorities. Phone companies should be held responsible for these types of calls since they are making money from them by providing the systems and services that these scammers use and possibly farming out numbers too.

They called my unlisted landline phone number on Tuesday, 22 March, at 8:38 AM PST. We are on the DoNotCall list. Caller ID said "Out of area" even though they are in the same area code as our phone number. I did not answer. They did not leave a message.
I called the number back using my blocked phone, not realizing that I had already done that before (see above). They answered with a recording, "Thank you for calling the Clean Energy Alliance..." I hung up after hearing that.
