When I answered the phone, a robotic female voice said "Goodbye" and hung up.  Probably a robocaller searching for active phone numbers.

I've seen the number on my caller ID but have never picked it up because I didn't recognize the number. Today, for some reason, I picked up the phone. Some guy said my last name wrong, (which is always a red flag) and I asked who was calling, and the jerk hung up. Thanks for letting me know it's a stupid home improvement cold call. Will not be answering from here on out.

Spouse hung up on them.

Called, said it was a market call. I asked what it was referring to. Wouldn't tell me. Waste of time!
