Our phones don't have a "block" feature, so we save the numbers and title them spam or blocked, etc. That way we know not to waste the time answering them. Yes, it takes a minute to add the number(s), but it has gotten so bad it is worth it. Some of them have been calling for several months, but we don't answer...
It helps to leave a message for your friends that you are "screening for telemarketers", we get a lot of hang ups now, but less of our time is wasted.
I just had a call from 714 8727232. I didn't pick up. I can't block these calls thanks to a lack of cooperation from Verizon. I, too, keep a list of calls from these creeps. I now have started the eighth page of these unwanted calls. I've reported them all to the DNC list. It is no help. Neither are the police or the FCC.
I have 136 numbers being blocked in my Teleblocker. This one earns the honor of becoming # 137.
