Called today (4/22/13) around 9:45 AM Pacific time. I never pick up unrecognized numbers. Suspected this was a garbage call, checked here and learned my suspicions were right.
Lowlife telemarketers need to be stopped, and the DNC is impotent. All I can think of is to tell my state and federal representatives know that if they do not take action to shut down these scumbags, they won't get my vote.
Garbage as usual. Don't even bother to block, they just change the number and my blocking quota is full. Just playing whack-a-mole. Don't pick up calls I don't recognize, they roll to voice mail then hang up. People that I want to talk to will start leaving a message, then if I'm home I can pick up (or ignore if it is spam message).
I receive two or three calls a day from this number, M-Th. Keep bugging me about home repairs or remodeling, but I rent. And they always ask for my father. Not sure how my Father's name ever got mixed up with my phone number. I have asked REPEATEDLY to be taken off of their list, only to tell them the same story the following days.
Got a call. No one there, but I could hear movement. Then, a barely audible recording said "You have been kicked from this contract," and then a hangup.
