Phone rings, we answer and no on the other side, very annoying, have no idea who or what this person is calling about. When we call the number back, it rings and rings and no one answers, so who knows what they are doing or want. HELP STOP THIS ANNOYING CALLERS.
No one was on the other end because no one called you. "They" call 100 #s at a time and only the first to answer gets through while the other 99 (aka you) get dropped.
NEVER call back! The con man's #1 trick is to get the rube to come to them. Calling back is playing the part of the rube and begging to be ripped off.
Nothing will stop the calls but, a call blocker will block them. Get one with "first ring suppression" and you'll never know the scammer called until you check your call log.
