They called my elderly mother who thankfully didn't answer the phone. Waiting to see if they left a message. Looks like a scam. Why is there not a choice in the drop down menu below for SCAM?
This robot actually does leave a voicemail as evidenced from the comments above. It did on mine, too. Female parsed-speech computer voice says that you owe back taxes and must call immediately before an arrest warrant in "your" name is issued (Ms. Robo never actually uses your name). Of course we ALL know that's not how the IRS works.....don't we? Apparently the scam works often enough to be profitable as it seems to be one of the more popular one out there.
