Got a call from this number. They asked for my mother. I called them back and requested State, County, and District court information for the so-called "case docket." The woman became belligerent and hung up on me. I called her back to warn her never to call my number again and that is be reporting her number to the FBI telemarketing fraud unit. Had to leave a message because she wouldn't pick up the phone.
Just an FYI to anyone else doing simple research on the internet...no need to be frightened. They never did show up at home or work. No filing was ever made in court. You can just ignore it an move along. They usually call from a blocked number, so my auto call blocking does its thing. Delete any dumb voicemails they leave and continue on with your life.
Scam, scam, scam. Do not return their call. They use fake legal jargon to make it sound like they are going to sue you and serve you papers. They aren't. They are trying to steal money from you.
