Anyone who says they are preparing to file suit "in your name and social security number" is fake. There is no such thing as filing suit against someone's social security number. (You don't use a SSN to file suit against anyone). This shows they are a scammer. I'm an attorney, trust me on this.
I got a call from 716_216_5875 telling me to call back to a 866 number with a docket number. A civil suit was being filed in my name with my social security number. Out of curiousity i called the number and the man stated that the courier they use must have someone giving out their number. I stated i know it is a scam and the number is blocked. If it happens again i will change my number and report his number. Funny how he got off the phone real quick.
