Please call me ..back to resolve why resurgent is calling me. I settled this account with Capital One and you in March 2012. You said I only needed to pay you 250.00. And I did. The last payment was a 50.00 payment. Call me and verify that you Joshua Domagala with Greystone Alliance will send a letter verifying this debt has been settled. You can mail the letter to me at P.O. BOX 3741 Memphis. TN 38173 . You formerly sent mail to 1056 Linden 516A. Memphis. TN 38104.
Mr. Ruder called, saying that Federal law required him to say this was in regards to a debt collection. We have perfect credit, and think this is a scam.
Mr. Joshua Domagal, (716) 218 4829, Greystone Alliance called stating an emergency with one of my employee"s wife that he needed to contact the employee.
The conversation insinuated a serious emergency which after a few more questions was able to decern the tactic of his attempt to get private contact information.
When I googled the number came across this site and now see that Greystone is a Debt Collector which they did not disclose in the phone call, they said they were retained to represent.
I just was left this message. I live in Hawaii. I just assumed it was a wrong number but went looking online for this company.
This was the message :
"This is a confidential message, (typing in background) for Linda 'my last name'. If this is not Linda please hang up and disconnect. My name is Joshua Damagala calling from the offices of Greyson Alliance regards to file #...-.... I can be reached directly at (716) 218 - 4829 or toll-free : (877) 789 - 1771. Under direct advisory under Federal Law this is an attempt to collect debt. Any information obtained will be used for that purpose."
I also googled this number and found this site. This seems like a scam to me.
Mr. Ruder calling husband's cell phone concerning wife's debt, even asked about her mother. Read google and found out it could be a scam and called back. "Supervisor" hung up on him. Still not sure if it is or what kind of scam.
