They called me today too, this scum bags need to stopped, i don't even see the point of the call, only that they scare the crap out people for no good reason, anyway now i am on this scam, and will make more people aware of it.
we have rec'd several phone calls from the same number. I work in the tax industry and typcially the IRS does not make phone calls without a notice first. I called back and could hear the call center people in the background (spoke with "Damian Smith and Attorney David Cooper"). I have sent an e-mail to the IRS' phishing department. I have igorned the call and blocked their number.
