Received a called from 716-262-1621 saying that I have to contact the IRS because there is a red flag on my Social Security Number. The caller identified himself as Raymond Francis. He said I have to contact the audit department. Immediately, I looked up this number and my conclusion is this is a fraud. Please be aware of anyone calling you from this number. Also I received a call prior from another number identifying as the IRS to contact them at 646-470-9980.
We receive calls daily from this number stating they are from Cash America and we need to call them back to confirm the details of a loan. No, we have not initiated any loans from them.
Called me today didnt pick up caller ID said Brenda Marshall. Ok folks the IRS would send you a letter if they were looking for you for something this is a scam dont fall for it !! If you do answer the call tell them to send something to you in writing. There are other scams going on with emails with similiar messages for the IRS and other agencies like EZ pass saying you owe tolls because the ezpass had now money on it
Got a call and didn't answer. The caller id said Brenda marshall....called the # back and it states it is someone by the name of micheal. Did not leave a message as found out first off this is a scam.
He will call early in the morning around 6:30 leave a message " this is eric williams and you have been approved by my company cash America for up to 5000.00 then he will leave a 202 number
