Didn't bother to answer cause it's late at night and not expecting any call during sleeping time. And I always receive calls from unknown numbers. They will never stop victimizing people. I hope all victims will outsmart these scammers!!!
I answered the call with the above number with a caller ID of Buffalo Philar the man on the other end started with a hello and commenced to say he was from a philanthropic organization certified to collecting for Police officers throughout the State of New York, and wanted to send me a kit with information and donation papers to send back with my donation. Oddly enough my next door neighbor was over my home who happens to be is retired NYPD police lieutenant he got on the phone identified himself and the caller then apologized and hung up saying he was sorry. As a post script the NYPD has no such arrangements to collect donations of any kind from anyone!
