I got one from this number today, very ugly and angry voice of a woman, saying a Walmart coupon myself or my husband filled has won a prize for 4 adults ... blabla... asking my age range and household income, and I should go to Woodbridge or something like that to claim the prize... not sure what they are trying to do.
Just received a call from this number. The man on the line said we had filled out a ballot and that it was selected as a winner. I asked where we had filled out this ballot "we had booths set up in many malls and Walmart's across Canada", I asked what name they had on the ballot and they said we only filled out our phone number. What kind of ballot for anything would only have people fill in their phone number!
Just when you thought telemarketers were getting smarter
They want you to go to a 90 minute high pressure sales meeting for a "travel club". Your "prize" will be travel vouchers you have to pay fees on with a lot of restrictions on when and where. Do not believe a word of what they are saying.
I just received a call from this number on my CELL PHONE. Odd... they asked if I had filled out a ballot to win something and I said No. They said thank you very much and hung up. Strange.
Received a call from this to my cell phone is not listed. The person confirmed that the number he called and said he was calling from the Consumer Award Center. Apparently a scam. I hangup.
